Accident Reporting System

A system used to record and analyze traffic accident information

About the Project

The purpose of this project was to implement a solution to facilitate the data entry and statistical analysis of traffic accident information.    This project employed automated testing techniques to ensure the system was delivered to the client error free.

Business Analysis

The solution required re-enginerring legacy systems and related processes and re-producing hundreds of statistical reports.   In addition, the entire solution was developed off-site as a turn-key solution, packaged and delivered to the client.   Although there are many benefits of turn-key development efforts, their benefits can only be relaized by smoothly transitioning from the development "shop" to the client site.   Working closely with the client to produce detailed implementation plans to install the solution and transition to support was key to the success of the project.

  • Oracle Forms
  • Oracle Reports
  • Platnium Technologies "Win Runner" and "Test Director"
