Helping Manage day-to-day operations and perform development activities on a fleet management system operated by a government vehicle managemenet agency
About the Project
This multi-year project consisted of
many dynamic teams working together to migrate multiple legacy
applications into a single integrated management system designed to
help manage the operations for a vehicle management agency.
This system included application components for managing the
procurement and inventory of parts, maintenance schedules, and
billing.
Business Analysis
Updating legacy functionality with new
technology required a thourough understanding of the underlying
business requirements. Many business analysis techniques such as
interviews and JAD sessions were used to develop an understanding of
these requirements and communicate them to the rest of the project
team.
Application Development
Application components were developed using the following technologies:
- Oracle Forms
- Oracle Reports
- Oracle Designer
